OverComing Fears

We all have a fear. Some are bigger than others, but they still exist. My fears are dark water and watered-down whiskey. We all have to face our fears at some point in our lives. Why not do it sooner than later?

But why, you ask?  And maybe a few of you are asking, how?

Heading 3

Start small. If you want to overcome your fears, don't keep putting it off! Find something you can get through with minimal trauma, and go for it! Get a group of friends to support you, make sure you document it for posterity, and have fun with it!

You'll regret it if you don't. If you're like me and you really want to do something but never get the chance to, you'll regret it for life! That, "What if" moment will be etched in your mind forever.

It's an awesome story! Even if you fail, you have the best story to tell now! You tried to swim with sharks and ended up throwing up from anxiety?! That's OK! You thought you could make it to the top of the Eiffel Tower without your fear of heights kicking in and you passed out? OOPS! Maybe you wanted to sleep under the stars at the Grand Canyon and it thunderstormed all over you. AT LEAST YOU TRIED, AMIRIGHT?

You'll be a better person. I'm all about people stepping outside their comfort zone. It grows you as a person, and as a citizen of the world. If we start doing things that make us uncomfortable, we can learn more about other cultures and people that maybe we aren't the most comfortable around, and bridge that gap!
