Hey, adventurer! I'm Simone.

I'm a digital nomad-turned-photographer who grew her hobby into a business. Now I travel and photograph beautiful, raw moments of people in their element.

In case we haven't met somewhere in the world yet...

I'm half Indian but only know a few words in Hindi. I lived abroad for a year, spending time in 24 different countries. I enjoy hole-in-the-wall places, a good hike, and finding the most unique spots a location offers. My full-time job is working as a product director for a software company.

I like more champagne than orange juice in my mimosas. I hate canned vegetables, and can't stand the sound of chewing. Ginger is the greatest root that ever did live. Indie Folk music will forever be playing on repeat somewhere in the background. I've been to 40 countries and find it difficult to stay in one place for more than a few months. My husband, our dog, and I have traveled North America in our self-converted van, Boots, and we eloped in North Carolina in 2023!

What do I bring to the table?

I enjoy the entire photography process. From capturing an intimate moment between a couple, when someone getting solo portraits taken exclaims, "damn, I look good!" to curating the best edit that enhances that moment. Photography is more than just pushing a button on a camera.

Because I enjoy the world and capturing its beauty, I honor that beauty by furthering my education in photography every chance I get. From photo academies, to networking with other photographers, I'll put in the work to get a better shot and provide a better client experience.

It's the trust that my clients put in me to capture their moments that keeps me going.

Why bring me along on your adventure?

I'm ordained with The Church of Spiritual Humanism and will happily marry you in any religion that you call upon. I'm also fully insured through Full Frame Insurance.

I've been a photographer for 4 years, and have been shooting weddings for 3 years. I don't see this as a disadvantage - I see things with a fresh perspective, new technology and techniques, and am not burned out on the industry yet.

I've spent weeks in the backcountry camping, backpacking, canoepacking, and snowshoeing, and I'll happily teach you the ways of making a killer trail snack out of peanut butter and cheese. I'm not afraid to get a little muddy, and I only half-scream when I see a tick.

I'm willing to do almost anything to get the shot!

Let's talk and see if we'd be good adventure buddies!
