Hey, adventurer! I'm Simone.
A travel addict, outdoor enthusiast, and vanlifer.
I lived abroad for a year traveling to 24 countries. I came home, cried for a few days, then decided I'd build a van and travel North America. Along the way, I grabbed a camera and started capturing people in their rawest moments. The rest is history!

In case we haven't met somewhere in the world yet...
-
My husband and I eloped in the mountains of North Carolina in 2023, then had a big Indian reception in Detroit a few weeks later
-
I've been to 42 countries and find it difficult to stay in one place for more than a few months
-
I'm half Indian and love spicy food (the spicier the better)
-
I enjoy hole-in-the-wall places and a good long hike
-
I once spent 18 days in the Canadian wilderness and may or may not have only bathed in a lake twice the whole time
-
My full-time job is in software, but my passion is photography
-
It took 9 months to build out our van, Boots, then I traveled all over the US, Mexico, and Canada in it
-
I like more champagne than orange juice in my mimosas

Why bring me along on your adventure?
I mean, you don't have to
BUT IF YOU DO...
I can be ready with one carryon bag in 3 hours
But also
-
I'm that person who's going to remind you it's your day, not anyone else's
-
I love learning about local culture, tasting new foods, sipping new beers and wines, and finding out about secret locations the locals don't want everyone to know about
-
I can show you how to pack your wedding attire so it doesn't get wrinkled
-
I lived out of one carryon backpack the entire year I was traveling abroad
-
I've spent weeks in the backcountry camping, backpacking, canoepacking, and snowshoeing
-
I'm not afraid to get a little muddy, and I only half-scream when I see a tick.
-
I'm ordained with The Church of Spiritual Humanism and will happily marry you in any religion (or lack of) that you call upon
-
I'm willing to do almost anything to get the shot!

What do I bring to the table?
-
My own camping spork and collapsible cup
-
5 years of photography experience
-
Continuous learning + testing new techniques
-
Extensive planning, traveling, and wrangling expertise
-
A fiery passion for finding cool new places
-
A loud voice (trust me, this comes in handy for family photo time)
-
Fully insured through Full Frame Insurance
